About
Margins is free for up to 3 seats, and the people who need it are rarely just you. Your ops lead wants to see what to reorder; your agency wants ad performance beside actual profit rather than platform-reported returns; whoever handles your books wants the categorization tidy.
Inviting someone takes an email address and about 30 seconds. This article covers adding people, seeing who has access, and removing someone.
1. Invite someone
Click your business name at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Click Members.
Click Invite at the top right.
Enter their email address.
Click Invite.
They appear in the Members list, and they'll get an email with a link to join. Until they join, you'll see the status as Pending.
Note: invite the email address they'll actually sign in with.
2. See who has access
Click your business name, then Members. The list shows everyone with access to your workspace:
Column | What it shows |
Name | Their name and the email they signed in with |
Role | Their level of access |
Status | Active once they've accepted |
3. Remove someone
Click your business name, then Members.
Find the person in the list.
Click the ⋮ menu at the end of their row.
Click Remove.
They lose access immediately. Nothing they did in Margins is undone - categorizations, costs, and notes stay.
Important: removing someone from Margins doesn't disconnect anything they connected. If they linked a bank or an ad account through their own login at that platform, check Settings → Integrations and Settings → Banks & Credit Cards afterwards, and reconnect anything that stops importing.
